Welcome to Springhill Youth Ministry
“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power – together with all the saints – to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ…”
~ Ephesians 3:18
Teenagers face the challenges of negative peer pressure every day. Our youth ministry provides an exciting and welcoming place for students in grades 6-12 to make meaningful connections with God and to develop godly friendships with other young people who will influence them for right. We meet nearly every Sunday at 9:30am, each Wednesday throughout the school year at 6:30pm, and continue with other activities during the summer. We offer a variety of programs and activities that will help strengthen their faith in Christ, solidify Christ-like character in their lives, and encourage fellowship with other young people who have a desire to serve God.
We exist to invite all students to Know, Love, and Live out a relationship with Jesus that starts now and lasts forever!
Sunday School
Sunday school is one of the church’s most powerful ways to affirm scripture as the foundation for living the Christian life. This is where big church becomes small church, and lifelong friendships are made. Because Christianity isn’t meant to be lived all on your own, we spend time studying God’s Word alongside our peers and trusted leaders. It’s here that we learn to study the Bible for ourselves, to better discern what it means, and how to pursue the Lord through the study of His own words.
Youth Group
At youth group gatherings, students of all commitment levels are engaged with authentic relationships and environments which are purposefully designed to facilitate forward-moving relationships with God, parents, friends, youth leaders, and the larger church family. Through mentoring, serving, playing, worshiping, and studying, we learn to enjoy God together and take up our part in His kingdom work. Who knew that diving deep could be such a good time?
Springhill Parent Resources
Springhill Youth Ministry believes that partnering with parents to help disciple their teens is both an honor and a blessing. We know that God has placed you in the primary role of raising and modeling the Christian walk for your children – and we applaud your efforts! Sometimes though, you could really use an expert in teen-ology in your corner.
So in effort to help you build the faith of your student in wisdom, stature, ability, and favor with God – we resource parents as the primary disciplers of their families, and strive to provide environments where students can experience the spiritual, emotional and relational freedom and guidance necessary for growth through Jesus Christ. We seek to do this in the context of a Christ-loving, family-style community, through supporting you with resources, counsel, and loving partnership along the full journey.
