Ministries
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23
We believe the church is called by God to share the Good News of salvation in our communities, fellowship with and lift up fellow believers, and seek ways to be a shining light for His glory.
There are ministries for every talent and ability at Springhill

Awana
Our Awana Club is an exciting ministry for children that enables them to discover the truth of the gospel and begin to serve the Lord! Kids in preschool through fifth grade learn scripture, listen to Bible stories and enjoy games and snacks. Awana is offered on Wednesday nights throughout the school year.
Want to volunteer? You could be a teacher, listen to verses, or help out with games or snacks. Contact Wayne Peters, call 904-261-4741 or email us to learn more.

Barnabas-Springhill Mobile Food Giveaways
Have you ever read the entire Bible? God’s Word tells us Scripture is our “sword” We know our God meets both the spiritual and physical needs of the body, and more than 13 percent of our neighbors in Nassau County don’t know where their next meal is coming from. In partnership with the Barnabas Food Program, we offer food assistance every second Monday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This drive-thru food assistance program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring containers to carry your food.

Community Meals
Once a month, the Springhill family comes together to serve a hot meal to local families in need. We also provide the families with a bag of groceries. With sometimes as many as 500 people to feed, we are grateful the Lord provides the resources, including the funding, the grocery shoppers, the cooks, the cleanup crew, servers for those who come eat with us, and delivery teams to bring meals to families who can’t pick up their food. Community Meals are offered the third Thursday of every month, with the exception of November, when they’re served the second Thursday. Contact Becky Little, call 904-261-4741 or email us to learn more.

Grace Groups
Springhill has an array of small groups that meet weekly in one another’s homes. These groups fellowship with one another, disciple one another, discuss that week’s sermon and pray together.

Mission Trips
Springhill travels to an area in need each year to serve as God directs. The majority of our volunteers, teenagers and adults, spend the week working on projects at homes and churches in the area. For example, the team may build handicapped accessible ramps, make home repairs, spruce up landscaping, paint, etc. We also have a kitchen team who makes breakfast, packs lunches and cooks dinner for all volunteers. It is a blessed time of fellowship serving the Lord! Call 904-261-4741 or email us to learn more.

Music Ministry
We enjoy a wide variety of praise music at Springhill, ranging from old hymns to the modern Christian songs you hear on the radio. What’s most important is that the songs are true to the Word of God and direct our hearts toward Him! Our Adult Choir leads our Sunday morning worship music, performs individually and also puts together Easter and Christmas programs. Our Media Team works closely with the choir as well as the pastor to manage sound, lighting and displays during services and special events. Call 904-261-4741 or email us to learn more.

Shining Lights
God calls on us to reflect His love in the world, and one way we do that is through our Shining Lights ministry. This ministry assists neighbors in need within our community, with projects such as building ramps, painting, landscaping and meeting other needs. All ages are welcome to be a part of this ministry. Call 904-261-4741 or email us to learn more.
Special Events
At Springhill, we host a number of special events throughout the year. Visit our church calendar for a full overview of upcoming events. Here are a few Springhill favorites:

Back to School Bash
When it’s almost time to go back to school, it’s time for Springhill’s Back to School Bash. Children in need are invited to choose a brand new backpack that’s packed with school supplies. We also have outdoor games, refreshments and fun as we say goodbye to summer break.

This fall festival is a fun, safe place to enjoy games, fun and candy while learning about the love of Jesus. Put on your favorite non-scary costume and come play carnival games inside our Worship Center, ride a train outside, climb the rock wall, and enjoy refreshments at this beloved Springhill tradition.
