This morning as we pray for our One and the One’s of our church, let us remember that this is not a game. People are dying in the darkness because they rejected the light. Darkness that they cannot get out of without the light. We must be the salt and light of the world. We must tell them about Jesus.
He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. In him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. COLOSSIANS 1:13–14
Lord, it is amazing to think of the great work You have done in my life. As Paul says, You have rescued me from the domain of darkness and transferred me into the kingdom of Your Son. I did not deserve this type of grace. No one does. You have done for Your people what they could not do for themselves, and now I boldly ask You to do the same for ____________. Right now, he/she is in the domain of darkness, though he/she may not recognize it. Because of Your great love, grant _______________ salvation and transfer him/her into Your kingdom of light.
